We are situated on six acres in the southern central area of Pennsylvania. We are bordered by pine trees and a beautiful creek, which the dogs enjoy swimming in. They also enjoy watching the array of wildlife that passes through. We are not a Commercial Kennel but a private couple who have dedicated their lives to helping others find the enjoyment and companionship that can come from sharing your lives with a dog.
We have been involved in the world of dogs all of our lives. The experience and insight we have gained over the years combined with the use of testing guides us in making sound decisions to insure that our puppies will be wonderful companions to share your days with. In 1997 we started to lay the ground work to breed our first Labradoodle litter. With the arrival of that first Labradoodle litter there was no turning back as the hybrid vigor was plainly visible in those puppies .
In 2007 as our breeding program is entering
its multigenerational phase we are also
turning over most of the responsibility for it
to our daughter Tina and her husband Jason.
As a toddler Tina was dodging the tails of the
Mastiffs we had at that time, at 3 she was
winning prizes with a full grown mastiff at local
competitions, at 8 she was spending Saturdays
at a large dressage based horse farm.
After finishing school she worked on several
horse farms from hunter, dressage, breeding
and a fox hunting farm. Her work in Dressage
has taught her patience and a deep knowledge of care and training that served her well in helping Bonita the last several years. Jason has a strong background in construction and the outdoors.
After 30 years of grooming and taking care of puppies Bonita’s wrists and knees are getting tired. Not to mention that we have not taken vacations as Bonita will not turn over the care of her dogs to just anyone. In the spring of 2007, John and Bonita moved to Myrtle Beach, S.C. and love it there.
We want to wish you good luck in finding that special new addition to your family. If you choose a Bad Companys Labradoodle or choose one somewhere else, remember this is a lifetime commitment. Please be a responsible owner and give your new addition all the time and love it deserves.
